Projects

This section highlights key projects I am actively contributing to, that advance ocean data analysis and improve our understanding of climate interactions.

SOCONET – Surface Ocean CO₂ Reference Observing Network

SOCONET supports sustained, standardized measurements of surface water and atmospheric CO₂. Data are openly disseminated and used to constrain air-sea CO₂ exchange, improving estimates of global carbon uptake. // Role: Steering committee member.

TRICUSO - Three Research Infrastructures together: Carbon Uptake Southern Ocean

TRICUSO enhances ocean carbon monitoring by innovating sensor tech, supporting citizen science, integrating biological data, improving data flows, addressing gaps in Southern Ocean observations for better climate change decisions. // Role: WP3 co-lead.

Antarctica InSync: International Science & Infrastructure for Synchronous Observation

Antarctica InSync is a global effort to synchronise research across Antarctica and the Southern Ocean, connecting ice, ocean, climate, and life to protect this vital region. // Role: Participant.

SCOR - 4D-BGC: Coordinating the Development of Gridded Four-Dimensional Data Products from Biogeochemical-Argo Observations

SCOR WG to advance 4D ocean BGC data products from BGC-Argo observations, enhancing data access, understanding of ocean processes, and decision-making. // Role: Associate member.
